PROJECT DESCRIPTION

For this project I designed an intuitive self-service kiosk solution for immigration centers using Microsoft Power Apps and AI

to break down language barriers. The system automatically detects a user's native language and provides translated access

to critical legal documents, visa application guides, and local resource maps.

Advanced features include voice-controlled navigation, real-time appointment scheduling, and a secure document scanning interface

all built with a human-centered UX approach to simplify complex bureaucratic processes.

This prototype demonstrates how thoughtful technology can create more accessible government services while maintaining rigorous data

and privacy standards through Microsoft's secure cloud infrastructure.

The purpose behind making this project was personal. Being an international student I had firsthand experience

of coming into a completely new country, with different culture, people and way of speaking.

Even though english has always been one of my primary languages, the accent and vocabulary used differs from place to place

and so I thought, if I struggled to understand people when I initially came to the United States, how difficult it must be

for people who are oblivious to even a word of the language. So to bridge this language barrier I decided to work on this issue.

Tools - Figma, Adobe Photoshop, After effects.
