PROJECT DESCRIPTION

For this conceptual project, I designed the SXSW 2026 conference as a bold, next-gen conference that highlights how technology has consumed the world and peoples perception of themselves through the use of innovative technology and interactive experiences.

The project transforms SXSW into a space where the new generation doesn’t just consume tech blindly, but they learn to rise above

the digital persona and back to real life, being a part of a visceral self-awareness that lingers long after the screens dim.

This was my first complete conference branding project, through which I got to learn how every small element contributes to the bigger picture. The project was completed over the course of an entire academic quarter allowing me to rework on the elements that were not up to the mark and learn from mistakes made during the process. Yielding the result that I was satisfied to see.

Through this process I learnt how to better use softwares like Figma and ethically use AI image generation platforms

to bring my concepts and vision to life. 

The most challenging expereince for me was the creation of video assets which was my weak spot.

I went back several times to refine the quality and to portray the image of the conference I wanted to.
